Dr. Sulochana Devi Cherukuri, MD., earned her medical degree from Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada. She pursued further training in U.S.A., where she completed residency in internal medicine at the Mt. Sinai Hospital Bronx, Newyork& University of South Carolina.
Then She did her fellowship in Hematology Oncology at the East Carolina University, North Carolina, U.S.A.
She was on the faculty at the brody School of Medicine – Hematology Oncology department in North Carolina, where she gained experience in comprehensive treatment of solid organ cancers including breast, cervical, ovary, lung, esophageal & GI cancers. Her aim is to detect breast cancer in early stages by promoting screening with #-D Mammogram and to increase breast cancer awareness in the community.
